StudioFeel is a system-wide audio equalizer for Android. It runs as a foreground service attached to the Android system audio session and applies professionally tuned EQ to every sound on your phone — music, video, games — without you having to change a setting in each app.
The goal is simple: make your existing headphones and speakers sound the way they should have sounded out of the box. Most consumer audio hardware has identifiable flaws — boomy lower mids, harsh peaks, bass that loses definition — that are easy to fix if you know what to listen for. StudioFeel is the result of years of careful tuning of those corrections, packaged into an app that gets out of your way.
StudioFeel started in 2021 as a small browser experiment — a parametric EQ with four presets, written for the Web Audio API. Five years later, the same tuning philosophy has evolved into the Android app we're launching now. The DSP curves at the heart of it are unchanged: tuned by ear, refined over hundreds of listening sessions, and conservative enough to stay musical at any volume.
